It's been over a year since I last updated this thing. I suppose I've never actually given a damn, seeing as I'm too anti-social to care. I really don't like being an attention whore, or having my feelings readily available for others to probe into. Although, as of late, there is one person I don't mind catching in on the little details of my life, and would actually prefer it seeing as I have a hard enough time expressing myself as it is. Really, I suppose I'm just talking to her indirectly.(Hey Sami. )


I don't mind if anyone else has anything to say. I've been a ghost in the past few years. Expect more art/commentary in the not too distant future. This little decadent streak of mine is falling out of transition, although it's one tough bitch to root out. A lot of this negative energy I've been having is being shelled out in more productive areas.

I've been working out a lot more. It can be a satisfying form of self abuse. Necessary at times. I collapse on the floor with my thoughts and try to find reason and contentment within this daily struggle. These damned thoughts are battled perseverantly across my mind, and with every push or fall, my sanity, the spoils of war. I'm much more of a fighter now, and less of the escapist that I was. That I'm glad for.



I'm torn to bits over the fact this manga I'm reading isn't being updated frequently enough.(4 months since the last) Berserk is just freaking awesome. There's just so much gruesome, horrid, sadistic shit in there and it all comes with a great story. Quite a rare combination in my opinion. XD I just wish the anime would have covered more than it did. They only decided to cover part of the story, and left out all the crazy stuff that happens afterward. Another thing not to like about the anime was the music. It was a little too 80's ish, and didn't seem right when it was used to glorify Griffith.



As far as paintings go, I'm almost done with one for Sami. I'll definitely be posting that, and possibly a few other pieces I did a while ago. Most of what is to come will just be scenic reproductions of anything that interests me. I'll be practicing realism.
